Los Verdes Drive runs along the western coastal flank of Rancho Palos Verdes, anchored by the Los Verdes Golf Course — a publicly owned, county-operated course laid out in 1964 with one of the most dramatic ocean-facing routings in southern California. The corridor includes the surrounding residential streets that look down over Abalone Cove Ecological Reserve and across the Catalina Channel.
Daily life pulls toward the Golden Cove Center for groceries and coffee, the Terranea Resort and Trump National Golf Club a short drive south, and the trails of Abalone Cove and Portuguese Bend immediately below. The Point Vicente Interpretive Center and the Wayfarers Chapel are minutes away along the same coast road.
The corridor is served by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. Housing skews to single-family Mediterranean and ranch homes on hillside lots, with views ranging from coastline to fairway depending on which side of the street.
